Summary

The Plasma Powercell was a type of weapon power cell that could be loaded into various energy weapons to enhance their projectiles with additional plasma damage. In "Heat Beam" mode, a weapon with plasma powercell was capable of firing a constant beam of superheated plasma up to 30 meters away, which could be sustained for 6 secons, with a 15 second delay between shots required for recharge. Most weapons allowed the installation of only one powercell at a time.
